Waypoint Recovery was a God-send. When I placed the first call to ask for help, the staff was so kind and spoke to me with such care and concern. The facility was beautiful and made me feel safe so that I could just concentrate on getting better. I can’t thank everyone there enough for watching over us and speaking to us like humans and not just addicts. I would definitely recommend this recovery center to others.
I left Waypoint Recovery center Dec 1 with so much knowledge about recovery especially my own. And I learned so much about other people. I learned how to love and to be loved again. Waypoint Recovery has helped me learn how to live again, clean and sober. The multiple pathway approach to recovery they offer really connected with me. I continue to use the tools I was taught and connect with other alumni to benefit my life and maintain my sobriety. I will forever be grateful to them.
I could go on and on about some lack of communication and some run around but in reality the staff and counselors are constantly adapting to the revolving door and influx of new arrivals and departures.They genuinely care about your well being and your time there once out of detox is concentrated on groups and counseling to guide you to a life free of addiction! Waypoint Recovery is amazing yet similar to a third world country. No Facebook,snap, internet, email. Let alone a phone. However I was there for help and the staff was very compassionate about what they do. They truly do want to help you if your willing to accept it and help yourself.
