Stay away. Just moved here, first time patient. I needed a full body scan to rule out skin cancer. When I booked the appt., I was booked me 3 months out because they had to allocate extra time for me. Dr. Xue took 10 minutes examining me. He found 2 suspicious moles and told me I’d have to come back to have them biopsied as he didn’t have time. I said no, do it now. He did. I think he was trying to get extra $ for second appt. Never have I had a dermatologist do this. I was appalled.

I have several skin conditions and received an unacceptable amount of treatment. Besides the initial handshake, Dr. Xue did not come within 4 feet of me - how in the world can a dermatologist assess skin conditions without even looking at them? Mentioned several skin lesions that Dr. Xue disregarded and didn't even look at. Quite possibly the worst dermatologist I've ever encountered.

I had high hope heading to this Doctor's office and disappointed after several visits and tests. He gave me the prescription for the shingle and denied doing so when I confronted him after finding out thru the pharmacy. He couldn't diagnose the symptom and gave me no helpful advises except the advise to see a Johns Hopkins Doctor. No wonder medicare is so expensive now a days as MD Doctors like Dr. Xue keeps your insurance companies paying for the services shouldn't be made in the first place.

I want to thank Dr Xue for his thorough and passionate care to my skin needs. I have been to a couple of dermatologists, I was very glad to find him !

I have been a patient of Dr Xue's since he practiced in Lewes DE., which is longer than other reviewers! Since I have experienced a variety of medical issues over the years requiring a dermatologist, Dr Xue is the ONLY specialist I trust completely. His knowledge, kindness and professionalism is #1.

I highly recommend Dr. Xue to my friends and family. He is an exceptional doctor. I have been a patient of Dr. Xue for more then 10 years. I totally trust his opinion and diagnosis. Every time I come to him with new or old problem he finds a right solution for me. His office is very popular, he has a lot of patients. You will need to wait for your appointment some time. But the wait time is worth, because Dr. Xue is an excellent specialist.

I can't really say if we're happy or unhappy with him; we spent to little time w/ him it is impossible to formulate an opinion! Literally spent over 35 minutes waiting to only spend 5 minutes with him. If he is this quick with other patients, how can he possibly run so late unless he is triple/quadruple booked?!

What a completely insensitive physician. Doctor Xue had no empathy, no concern for my daughter's condition; did not even look at her skin and hurriedly wrote prescriptions. He left the office as she was speaking to him so he could see the next patient and collect their $$. The receptionist wreaked of alcohol ; the other office lady was loudly speaking to another patient in a foreign language. Do not look at this Doctor's credentials. In my opinion, he is worthless

I wish i can give negative review on this website. I called Dr.Xue's office in Gaithersburg location for my mom. When she arrived on the appointment date, the front desk said they could not find her information, and the doctor is not even in the office today. When i called earlier this month, the whole family heard my conversation with the front desk. The lady who is working in the office is very rude. It's your front desk's fault and the patient has to suffer. Worst experience ever!!!
