Ready Meds is the best thing since sliced bread! As I sat in the OR waiting room, a pharmacy tech delivered my husband's post-op meds (nicely packaged), took my payment on the spot, and asked if I had any questions. Now when he gets discharged we don't have to stop at a pharmacy on the way home. This was convenient for us, but I can only imagine how valuable this service is for elderly patients, or those who don't have adequate transportation. Today I brought my grandson in to be seen in the ED. The nurse was rude as usual. Then I was told I couldnt go back with him because I'm the grandma. Why is it that I can go in a restaurant or such place but cant accompany my grandson for an ultrasound? Wayne UNC policies suck. They always have, especially when I worked there. The guidance and training is sporadic. In the ED people are not just numbers. We are human beings. I hate this place!!!!!
I recently visited this facility with my Mom to have her heart scanned. When we got into the room to be scanned, I thought I recognized the person doing the scan. It was one of my best friend's exes, Ryan something (not sure last name), who she had to have arrested for coming to her house communicating threats and he even got a DUI that same night. This wasn't that long ago and he is very unstable!! Can't believe this place hired him! He is a drunk and abusive to women!
Guess I have to re-post since you folks don’t like the truth. This place is a joke. The overall incompetence at this “hospital” is astounding. No infectious disease dept. They’ll lose a patient’s property and basically tell you you’re S.O.L. if you want it back. Meredith Peters and Jenn Bailey are no help at all. Don’t even bother trying to involve them. That moment when you have to call the LPNs out on not doing their job right and giving you an ill fitting sling/ rushing you out like wtf if you have a job do it right 🌝🙄 I’m sorry, I’m not trying to worsen my already messed up shoulder.

The Emergency room staff was excellent!! My life was in the best care on this Earth. I never expected to be treated so well. Thanks to their quick actions and well educated staff, I am here to write this! The surgery staff was beyond compassionate and showed love. My in hospital stay was also one of caring nurses and excellent health care. You all are true heroes! Thank you all so much!!

First time mommy . I was very hesitated about going to Wayne Unc due to a previous problem. I was 40 weeks and 4 days late , so I got induced at Wayne UNC . I had a few nurses they all did a great job . The two nurses that stuck out was Kerrie & Madison (Rn) . They helped me through my whole labor and kept me motivated. 💙💙💯 I’m so grateful to have had y’all to help me give birth to my son .! Thank y’all so MUCH .!!
