We initially went to Dr. Shen for a second opinion relating to post-seizure neurological and behavioral problems our elderly mother was exhibiting. Dr. Shen quickly determined that they were due to inappropriate medication she had been prescribed, and solved the problem. We have been going to Dr Shen since. We can't praise Dr. Shen enough for the core competence, expertise, and effectiveness he demonstrated during this stressful time, and consistently demonstrates to this day. NEVER EVER GO TO THIS HORRIBLE MAN. HE WAS THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL DOCTOR I HAVE EVER BEEN TO. I CAN NOT BELIEVE HE IS STILL PRACTICING MEDICINE. I CAN'T BELIEVE I HAD TO GIVE HIM A 'STAR' JUST TO POST MY COMMENT..... HE SURE DOESN'T DESERVE IT!!
Professionalism at its best! SVMH is well trained and is a great hospital ! They treat their patient like family ! I'm glad we still have people that take pride in their work !
They need to gove a better diretory so you can call the correct deparent instead of listing one number and then being transferred several times they need to list out-patient,ER,Operator for after hours out-patient surgery other wise the friendlyness of the employees answering the phobe and transfering you are very polite,kind and understanding when one is calling trying to find a family member or son,daughter,ect..
