Dr. DeTorres spent quality time with me to fully understand my issues. He explained things well in advance to put me at ease. He was professional, yet friendly in his manner. His treatment was effective, resolving my issue fully the first time. Overall, a very satisfactory experience.

Dr did a cystoscopy. Absolutely done to perfection, no pain. No aftereffects. I have no negative feelings, and extremely lucky to have him treating my bladder cancer and prostate cancer. He has been extremely patient with me and has done much to accommodate my sometimes conflicting schedule. He always has a smile and puts me at ease. I highly recommend him
My Dad and I have been patients of Dr. DeTorres for over 20 years. Excellence is the best description of Dr. DeTorres expertise and care. He is also compassionate to his patients. Dr de Torres was exceptional! He was very empathetic, professional and personable. His nurse ( Lisa) and cover nurse (Rodney) were extremely helpful in attending to all my needs. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. de Torres to anyone in need of urological care.
He is kind, gentle, cheerful & has a wonderful bedside manner.
Unfortunately, after an initially very positive experience, I have to revise my opinion. Dr. deTorres is not available for phone calls, all communication goes thru back-and-forth phone messages with his office switchboard and nurse. We had a major miscommunication about a blood test needed pre-MRI. After that issue was finally solved and the MRI was scheduled, it took me three days to hear back from Dr. deTorres’ nurse, to only get a quick summary of the results. Dr. DeTorres is very competent and personable. He listens and takes the time to explain his diagnosis. He is very knowledgeable and up to date. I am quite happy with Dr. DeTorres and can recommend him without reservation.
Dr. Detorres is expert and pleasant and - another point that sets him apart - takes the time to listen well. He is very attentive. First-rate.
