Closest place to eat on the beach. Good seafare and drinks
We patronize the Wayfarer every year we come out for our annual summer beach trip. The menu has changed significantly and now has limited selections, the favorites have vanished. The service was alright the guy was nice. I miss the waiter we have had for the last few years. Also my husband's veggies beets, green beans and some Brussels sprout concoction was undercooked and not chewable. We are going to try the Pelican Brewery we saw up the street next year. Went in because of the amazing view and found the best crab cakes I've ever eaten. Was very pleased with our find! Cute little place with the best view. Will definitely stop by next time we're in Cannon Beach!

The chef was wonderful but the host was a piece of shit he told us that we had to make recervation(when the restaurant was empty)at the end they let us in but we were seated where they wanted

I love visiting here every time we come to Cannon Beach. The food is great; although it's getting pretty expensive, and the service is as well. My favorite dish is actually from the breakfast menu - the Dungeness crab cakes benedict. We don't get down there often, so I always order the full order to hold me over until next time.
I have been here twice now for breakfast. Quality food at a reasonable cost, and beautiful views of the ocean/Haystack rock! Service is always top notch with friendly servers who easily split up tabs. It is easy to rack up a pricey breakfast bill when Bloody Marys are $10 and Spanish Coffees are $12 - that is my ONLY complaint. The drinks ARE fabulous.
