Never heard of Wayback Burgers so thought I would try it out. Walked in, looked like a 5 Guys or Home Run Burgers type place. There were a few of us waiting in line. One cashier/cook, Amber, she was doing everything, only person there, doing it with a smile as well. The Owner, Phil, eventually came out to help Amber. We have eaten at Wayback several times and enjoyed our meal. Yesterday for our anniversary and Mother's Day we went there for lunch. Dominic and I both ordered the philly cheese steak, it was very disappointing. The cheese was not melted and the meat was over cooked and dried out. David's chicken sandwich was over cooked and dry. We will go back, but it may be a while.

I've been there a totally if two times. Each time it has been excellent. I say this in a good way. When your looking for that next day greasy hamburger after a hard night drinking this is the place to go. I got the double with bacon. Hit the spot. You could taste the flavor and was cooked perfect. Not undercooked or too crispy. I live in Princeton and everytime I go to Evansville and have the time I'm like wayback burger it is.
