No consistency...worst wax ever – I agree with Velzy! I have tried to stay with Wax in the City but I have been hurt way to bad, to many times!!! I have been going to Wax in the City for a while now and I usually go to the first available person. I have only seen one girl that I like. When I have had to go to the other girls (I think one of them was an owner), they were the worst waxes ever. Great location, awful experience – After reviewing all the salons in Boulder, Wax In The City seemed like a good choice. Scheduling was simple and the receptionist was very friendly and helpful. I got a Level 1 modified Brazilian and Lower Leg wax from Noreen. She was very nice and I felt comfortable. My Brazilian was the worst I've ever gotten. We take pride in having a learning environment and want to address your concerns; however, we have spoken to Noreen and researched this, but cannot find record of a re-due for a Brazilian wax with Noreen during April/May timeframe. Great Wax – As a male going in for my first wax, I was a bit hesitant but Alex and her staff immediately put me at ease. Alex explained exactly what would happen, the type of wax to be used and what the experience would be like. During the procedure, Alex explained that she sees many other guys for waxing services so clearly I wasn't the first guy on her table. waxing is better when done RIGHT! – Wax in the City is the spa I've been waiting for. I first started getting my legs waxed when I was 14 (I was weird) and 10 years later this is the best place I've ever been. I've heard a lot of waxing horror stories that were mostly due to the inexperience of the aesthetician, but that will never happen here. Awesome! – I have been going to Wax In The City for a while now to get my brows done. I always see Melissa, and she always does an amazing job - I've even gotten compliments on them! I have referred friends to her and know they've all been satisfied with their brows and bikini lines. She always checks that everything was removed, does a bit of tweezing to ensure perfect shaping, and is quick and as painless as having hair ripped out from the root can be. The only place to go – Wax in the City is the only place I'll ever go to get any waxing, ever! I've been other places, while traveling, and can say without hesitation that they are heads and tails above the rest. I never pick a specific cerologist, so I've used many of them, and have only positive things to say about those who I've used. Don't make the mistake of going anywhere else--I wish I hadn't!
Wonderful Sevices for the best prices – I love, love, love Courtney at Wax in the City! She is a wonderful waxer and a very friendly person. I've been going to Wax in the City for a year and I have never been disappointed. They are fast, conveniently located, experienced and professional. I would highly recommend them to my friends.
Tried many, this is the only place from now on! – I booked a Brazilian wax several weeks ago and liked the professional staff on the phone. They asked some basic but pertinent questions and gave me the date and time that worked for my schedule. While orginally scheduled with Courtney, I was taken back by Melissa within 30 seconds of filling out my paperwork. Awesome! Great Service! – I just got my first Brazillian with Jessie Dillard. She was awesome!!!! Not nearly as painful as I thought it would be--She was quick, professional & did a great job making me feel comfortable! Front desk service was great too! Highly recommended!! I will be back!
