DTC Wax in the City – I was in need of an eyebrow wax....bad! I was looking for a new place and had seen a coupon for Wax in the CIty. Unfortunately, I don't live downtown anymore. Fortunately, there is a Wax in the CIty in DTC. My experience was great, from the phone call for an appointment to the finished product. Laura did my brows and was so thorough. Best Brazilian – I moved to Boulder two months ago and was afraid to have a brazilian done by someone new. I'd been going to the same girl in my hometown for years. Fortunately, I had nothing to be afraid of. The staff was friendly, the studio was clean and Summer did a great job. No hair was left behind! I won't bother trying anywhere else in Boulder, I'm happy with Waxing the City (and the cold, far less painful wax they use).
AMAZING Experience, and I'm a first timer – This was my first time waxing and everyone there was great. When I first walked in it smelled like a dr office. Little did I know how reassuring that was going to be! The staff was super friendly and they were able to accommodate me even though I was a bit late. Too much trouble – Any place that is this hard to get to should be able to wax. When I left, I still had hair and the hair grew back very fast. I am glad they did not want a tip. Maybe I just came on a bad day.
A friendly perfectionist took great care!!!! – I trusted Waxing the City with my first Brazilian and I keep going back. My last visit I had Summer as my esthetician. She is AMAZING!! She used hard wax as normal and then soft wax to get tiny little blonde hairs that others just leave behind. Then she tweezed so I was perfectly bald when I left. excellent all round service – Beautiful wax. Minimal discomfort. Prompt, curteous service.. Always felt welcome and comfortable. I learned of Waxing in the City from reading Best of whatever in the 5280 magazine. Great Location, Poor customer service – I went into Waxing the City strictly because I live so close and because it had pretty good reviews. A couple of friends of mine had told me that I should not go there because they had bad experiences multiple times but everyone always has a different experience right? I will definitely be going back! – I went to Waxing the City for my first ever brazilian bikini wax. I did my research and Waxing the City had the best reviews so I decided to give it a try. I was so glad I did! The staff is very friendly and makes you feel at home. Alexandria did my waxing and she was absolutely wonderful.
