Horrible, traumatizing experience I went to Wax On in Belltown for my first-ever Brazillian. I told the girl (Sandra? Sandy? She never told me her name, I had to call back later to ask and have since forgotten) it was my first time and that I was pretty freaked out about it. She never responded to that, never offered me anything to drink, barely said more than a couple woi\rds to me the entire time. She seemed to be in a hurry even though I was early. don't go anywhere else for a wax... If you are looking for a wax, you must go here. They are the best. When I first "entertained" the idea of a Wax, I tried several different places- from the low end places to the fancy over priced places. This little semi-spa is quaint and welcoming, the staff is cool and comforting and they are gentle-gentle-gentle; very professional and very good at what they do. The Best in the Business, I'd say!!!!!! They wax everything and have very fair pricing- check out the website at www.waxon.com.
Clinical atmosphere, passable results I have to say that Wax On is definitely not my choice for waxing. I've been to the Wax On location on 15th several times and it's not a particularly inviting place. This is clearly not a spa. They do a passable job, but it's not great. They'll also try to sell you all kinds of products (for waxing?!?), which is fairly annoying.
Best Wax in Town I get my waxing done at the Belltown Wax On and I couldn't be more satisfied. It is a very small location, but the aestheticians are excellent and friendly and it is very easy to get an appointment. You can also double up on services--I have gone in for a painful bikini wax followed by a soothing facial and gone out feeling fabulous. The prices are also very competitive.
CJ is great! – My esthitician moved to Florida and left me with a bushy stache and brow. I heard about CJ so I gave her a go. She was great, super nice and made she me feel very comfortable. I highly recommend seeing CJ for all of your waxing needs.
Wow what a wax – It feels great to get a dwax with so many great people around. My waxer, Anne, had me feeling comfortable and clam. There is no pretention here!! I have never had a Brazilian so throughly done. Not a hair left!!
Simply the best! – Anne is amazing 6 years leading the industry.....she simply has made waxing a fun experience. Not only are they all wonderful at waxing but the facials are AMAZING! The smell of the Decleor products when you walk in to the salon is just pure bliss. Now she has spray tanning .......I no longer have to be pasty in Seattle!
Nice people -- Very skilled – Getting a wax is...touchy business. It's not like going to the gynecologist where you have to be there. You could do your own waxing at home; a pelvic exam you could not. So to get me into a waxing salon, and especially to get me to come back, they have to be doing something really right.
