Look at my brows - they are fabulous! – I have been to Wax On capitol hill several times and I love it every time I'm there. I have seen Sara, Shelley and Steph - they all wax a "mean eyebrow". Everyone is very thorough and considerate. I love Wax On because it's not pretentious like so many other spas are. Heck you can even have a swig of whiskey if you're feeling nervous - how can you not love that! I recommend this place for sure!!
Professional, knowledgeable and very friendly service. – I highly recommend Wax On to anyone who wants a quality Brazilian wax. Want to make an appt ? Don't bother - they won't call you back. – Don't hold your breath for a return call. They completely ignore their customers. Ok. It's the weekend. I'm really excited about getting a clean wax job and have a limited amt of time to do it. They have an online email appt form. I send it in requesting an appt for Saturday. Not a place for your mani/pedi – This was the most awful mani/pedi place I have been too! There was no customer service. The massage chair was broken. The water was scolding hot, they seemed offended when I asked for it to be cooled down. They did not turn on the jets. They did not use lotion for the massage. Overated – What's the big hype with this place? I went here for a brazillian after my normal waxer was booked up for the day and let me tell you, I was less than impressed. The waxing was tooo fast. I couldn't catch my breath before the next rip came and the experience was much more painful than normal. The spa I normally go to has the hard wax which I think is much more gentle on the skin. I would skip this place for sure.
Sheila is great! – I've been getting brazilians for a few years and stopped going to my regular place when my waxer left (and they were a little overpriced). Not good. I went here for my first Brazilian wax. I tried to make an appointment online using their reservation request form. It said someone would get back to me shortly to confirm. After hearing nothing for three days, I called, and was informed that there was no availability for several weeks. Fine -- I made an appointment. unfriendly customer service – I work at a local spa, and since we are booked solid i needed to get waxed at another spa. i went to wax on because it is in my neighboorhood. i arrived 15 minutes early for my appointment, and sat in the waiting room for 10 minutes before anyone greeted me.
