Would rate 0 if I could. Words can't describe my frustrations. Stay away if you have any other option. These guys are charging me when I no longer even have the car or an active policy. They renewed it at a higher rate without any correspondence and just went into my account without authorization and I can't even reach them.
Had a dishwasher leak Damage to the kitchen floor and ceiling below Made a claim in April 2025 Made numerous phone calls to Wawanesa and was ignored Finally received a phone call on July 2025 claiming that the damage was caused by galvanized pipes in the basement Claim denied Thank you for taking my premiums for the past 40 years
Terrible terrible terrible. Phoned 5 business days later to ask what’s going on and when can I expect my money. Was told that since I searched by name and not by phone number it will take weeks to process. I had to phone them to figure this out not them contacting me by app, email or phone. Nothing. I was put on hold and hung up on twice. Then I go to add a review and they have a rating of 1.8 out of 5 already… 👍🏼 Do Not Recommend At All. Go Elsewhere!
I had issues with a payment and called to get it sorted. Once everything was sorted out they told me my plan and my pink slips didn't change and everything was good to go. Turns out THEY SWITCHED OUT MY POLICY FOR NO REASON TO A VEHICLE I HAD SOLD MONTHS AGO and then got a ticket for it
Unfortunately we have had a few claims experiences in the family and they have been fair and easy to work with. Compassionate staff and they seemed to treat us honestly. Maybe not the cheapest but when stuff went wrong it was sure better than dealing with the last company we had a policy with. Giving credit where credit is due.
