Wawanesa, I am writing to formally document my experience with Wawanesa Claims regarding my recent automobile theft claim, and to express my deep dissatisfaction with how I was treated throughout this process by Gino Biasiol and Jay Hodgson. I have been with Wawanesa for over 20 years and words can not describe how upset and angry I am with them. My payments doubled due to the type of car I drive being high risk of being stolen, fine. But then I kept getting screwed over every moth by just difrent things and now when I cancel my policy they charge me more the a moths payment just to cancel my policy. It is insane.
An absolute nightmare to deal with, very bad at responding , super slow to get back to you. They literally work against you. They gave my brother one way insurance due to the age of his vehicle Toyota Corolla 1996 he got struck in a parking lot by a women trying to reverse and park instead she reversed into him 🤦🏻♀️ now he has started a claim and even though they’re HIS insurance it seems as if they are working fully against him to try to prove him AT FAULT instead of the other way. WORST INSURANCE COMPANY EVER! Zero stars is the best I can give. If you have a Wawanesa policy, get out of it as soon as you can. Imagine your 35 yr old wife is killed in a car accident that totals her car and leaves you with a toddler to raise on your own. Can someone tell me why my policy was cancelled for non payment and my balance is $0? I have not received any correspondence from this company outside of my brokerage Scoop. This is the third time my policy has been incorrectly cancelled. Very concerning for an insurance company
