Walls were not painted which is customary between residents. Unit had not been treated for cockroaches prior to move in, as they were not present until there was food for them. There are multiple safety issues including a broken door chain, some bent window screens, to name a few. As well I had asked about a parking pass, and have been self monitoring the parking lot, yet still keep being told that there are no parking spots.
The apartment was dirty. We were told between when the previous tenant moved out and we moved our daughter in they would be completing repairs, painting and fumigating the apartment. Nothing was painted and all the nails were still on the walls from things the previous renter had hung. Building manager chose not to fumigate as he claimed he saw no roaches but on move in day multiple dead and live roaches were found and the first roommate to move in had to vacate so they could come in and spray like they should have in the fi... read more
This building is infested with cockroaches and bedbugs. We arrived with everything from furniture, beds, dressers etc. and left with just our belongings and clothes. We LOST everything due to an infestation of bedbugs and cockroaches. My kids were constantly getting bit every night from the bedbugs. It's just not a safe place for children or anyone, for that matter. The building should be torn down already. Not a good experience. I left emotional because we lost everything.
