When the mercury rises and the temperature makes you sizzle under the collar, head for Wave Country. It features a number of water slides and a wave machine that creates surf up to four-feet high. There is no better way to cool off on a hot day. The park also has picnic areas and additional recreation space for kids to toss a baseball or Frisbee when the water fun is finished. Admission: $8 for 13 and older, $7 for 12 and younger, 4 and under is free. Free parking. Rental Floats $4.

My best friend and her family went to wave country Saturday and what was supposed to be a family fun filled day almost went wrong. All because their life guards (who are still employed) don't wanna do their jobs right. My best friend, her aunt, and my 3 year old god son almost died in the wave pool and nothing was done to the girl who refused to do her job. So we will be leaving reviews to further warn people of your poorly operated water park.
My husband, aunt, son, and I traveled from weakly county Tennessee just to come to this water park "if you can even call it that....". Well my aunt, son and I got in the wave pool and got about 5 ft out and we started struggling. My son is 3 and can't swim so it's just me and my aunt trying to hold up on the tube while my son is scared so we TRY to get help..... Had a great time the lines were not long. It was a relaxing atmosphere loved the music and would recommend this highly to family’s that want to have good fun at great prices!
