The dr we seen wasn’t very friendly at all. His only concern was that we didn’t go to the same hospital I delivered at ( McDowell). They diagnosed me wrong and sent me home with meds that knocked me out . As a mother to a newborn luckily I had my husband at home with us. I don’t recommend! I’d much rather drive 2 hrs away and get proper care then 30 mins away and get treated as this Dr treated me !
Overpriced, bad at communication, and the imaging department is next to useless. Go anywhere else if you have the choice.
At the ER for kidney infection, been on antibiotics but not getting any better in fact getting worse. Start to have chills and flank pain now. This place won’t do ANYTHING FOR YOU! You show the a culture that shows infection still not high enough bacteria counts in their opinion so won’t treat. Well of course not I took an antibiotic but it was not working so it didn’t fully treat it. Just lowered my bacteria counts some. Have you ever heard of bacteria resistance. Probably not. My grandfather's second wife had a staph infection in a hospital in Winston-Salem about 2000 and they took out her first knee replacement that she had in 1994 when she lived up in Massachusetts and she had to use a wheelchair for a year and a half without a knee.
