Setting was great, nice staff, waiter was great. Unfortunately the food was not good. Salmon selection was served with small potatoes and beats, etc. which were barely warm and had a red sauce that I didn't like. My husband had a seafood dish with pasta. He said there were two shrimps, two scallops, and guesses there were small bits of lobster, but not sure. Skimpy on the seafood part. My son did not like the nachos with pull pork. The steak with fries was good and the hamburger with fries was good.

We were traveling from Portland Maine to Swanton Vermont during Labor day weekend and stopped here for a light evening meal and to relax. We sat on the outdoor deck...great view, fantastic food and the best service! We will be back when we can stay to try out some items on there large beverage menu.
Exceptional food. Every bite has layers of flavor. The very best coffee cake I have ever had. You cannot beat the riverside atmosphere. Great service too. No downsides.
The food was good but service was terrible. For a table of 12 it took over an hour to ge our food. Groups seated after us were served before us. A member of our party stated she had a gluten allergy and they put her eggs on bread. When she asked to send it back and have a new meal and told them again she was allergic to gluten the server asked if she really needed to have the kitchen make a new meal or if they could just remove the bread.
