The food is awesome. Deb hospitality is outstanding. Take road trip!!!!!! It's worth the drive.

We stopped by here after biking on the trail. Restaurant was clean and homey with a family friendly atmosphere. Good variety of menu options. Excellent and pleasant service. Very good food. I had the signature salad and my husband had the Bear Paw sandwich and French onion soup. All very fresh and tasty. We topped it off with an ice cream sundae! Great place to end the afternoon. We wish the owners well and hope to see them open for lodging soon!

We had the best French onion soup that we have ever eaten before. Our sandwiches satisfied both our lunch and dinner appetite. We can't wait to visit again in the fall to enjoy both the beautiful scenery and the delicious food.
Had a great time with the family this past weekend with our tavern friends, great food, great service, and great people. My daughter loves her bear tattoo thanks a bunch!!!!
The Waterville tavern is awesome! The staff is so friendly and accommodating, the food is excellent and is in great portion sizes, and the drive there isn't too far and it absolutely beautiful. It's very clean, has a lot of space for all parties and isn't too rustic-just enough! Will definitely be back!
