Despite being short-handed on Thursday night wait staff, we had a great experience and as usual, yummy food. Always enjoy the friendly faces and local atmosphere. :)
Awesome experience. Stopped on our way home our cabin. Very friendly oriented. Our 5 year loved his kids meal with included Frisbee and ice cream sundae. My Mom said it was the BEST steak she ever had. All other food was amazing and the staff was incredible. Looking forward to coming back.

Traveling home on the scenic route from Wellsboro to Hanover this afternoon, my husband and I drove by The Waterville Tavern. We were so impressed by the exterior of the Tavern that we turned around, drove back and stopped in to check it out. The interior was as tastefully updated and pleasant as the exterior. Dinner was great last night at the Tavern. I had the new appetizer, crab cake tower. A crab cake with 2 shrimp on top. Oh my, delicious. Next time 2 will be my dinner and of course the scrumptious French onion soup.
We received the worst service and were so unprofessional. I will not recommend anyone going here.
The drinks are the best. Beer selection ia also awesome. I would definitely come back. Stop by and try it.
Today was our first visit and I see many more in our future! Really nice place, great food and great service!
