Food is good, but tried to set up a large dinner party and they lost our reservation. We caught it early but coming in to check out the room nor calling again seemed to help get the room. No one sent me a contract the first time, gave my colleague a contract when she stopped by or called me back/ emailed me the contract needed when I did get someone. Also, I was originally told the cover charge for the room was 300. The last time I did talk to someone, she said 500. We had dinner somewhere else.
Excellent food and drinks. Great atmosphere. I will definitely be going back when I visit Lynchburg again.
This was absolutely a wonderful place ....would love to go back to try other things off their menu.........Beautiful place for a party.......What a joy to see all the new things goin on in downtown Lynchburg Virginia.........
Well, I love the flavor of the bbq chicken pizza. But I just wish they had a thicker crust. I love a good NY Style crust. But, despite that, it was good. The side salad was fresh and delicious, too.
I normally like everything I get at Waterstone, but tonight the Thai salad was not what it once was. The menus said nothing about iceberg lettuce, it says mixed Napa cabbage. Instead we got shredded iceberg lettuce. This made for a really mushy salad, instead of the crisp salad I remember. The waitress was super nice and accommodating, she offered to bring us some cabbage, but that wouldn’t have fixed it. My brother and I both ordered the salad, mine with chicken and his with salmon, we were both disappointed.
We ate here our last night of a multi-day stay in Lynchburg. If we would have eaten here day one I’d have gone back 3 more times. Great atmosphere, service and food. Get the spicy Thai pizza!
We have never been disappointed in any menu item we have ordered here, staff is also great!
