It is could leave this company a -5 star I would. They are horrible!!! After dealing with them and reading the reviews they have done the same thing to me. Due to my credit score not being the bright and shinning start that they are are apparently looking for, they are gave me the run around. I bought a house in May 2019 using Mart *******at Waterstone Mortgage. Every time I met with Marty, I told him I did not want my ins. and taxes escrowed; I had owned 5 homes in my life, had always paid my own ins. and taxes, and had excellent credit. I even paid 2/3 of the sale price in cash. Marty assured me there would be no problem being responsible myself, without being escrowed. At closing, I saw he had put escrow in my paperwork, so the lender was going to take money from me to pay my ins. and taxes. But I had already ... read more

I used Mike *****from Waterstone and he is amazing. He walked me through every step along with my realtor, Chelsea ****from Keller Williams. They were both extremely accommodating. I felt supported and treated like a human. I felt they had my best interest at every turn in my home buying experience. I have nothing but praise for their long hours of working with me and feel they went above and beyond helping me get the best loan and rate. Very thankful for them.

I wish I would have read these other reviews before I decided to use Waterstone Mortgage. I experienced poor customer service as well. My mortgage advisor would not return emails or phone calls the few times I made contact after my approval. My real estate agent could not get a return call as well. It took me contacting her supervisor to get a response. I had an approval letter for a specific type loan, but instead of putting me with another advisor who could be more helpful I was told to find another lender. They apparently... read more
