RecommendedLike the name says, it’s on the water front. We sat at a very nice table looking out on Shem creek watching tour boats wander about, people on fishing boats, paddle boards, and kayaks; pelicans flying about and floating on the water looking for something to eat, and at least three dolphins wandering about. I had a mixed shellfish dinner with rice and a rich tomato sauce that included several kinds of shellfish I had never eaten before. It was wonderful. It may not have been cheap, but it was very good.
We go there every time we go to Charleston/Mt. Pleasant/Isle of Palms. We ask to be seated by the window, order great seafood, and enjoy watching dolphins, pelicans, paddle boarders, and fishing boats. After we eat, we walk on the boardwalk park next to the restaurant. It’s so relaxing...Wonderful outing!

my husband just took me here for my birthday tonight and we were looking forward to the prime rib and he wanted king crab legs. The prime.rib was low quality and lots of connective tissue and fat, as well as still raw on portions of it, not medium rare. The king crab leg (which was super small for $20 for 1) was over cooked, rubbery, and fishy. We have had many 5 star meals on our visits to Charleston but this one was a big miss.
Crab cakes are a religious experience!
Very friendly service! At least three employees introduced themselves to us while we were at the Cabana bar eating lunch. Beautiful views! Lunch was yummy!
Don’t order a ribeye. They can’t prepare a medium rare steak. They tried twice. Over cooked both times. Beef had poor flavor.
The shrimp cocktail was close-your-eyes-while-eating GREAT!! I’m from Beaufort County and know good shrimp!
