I stopped in to the front desk for a tiny bit of info on the facility, but mostly for a question about medical equipment. I was greeted at the front desk by an extremely kind woman named Anari. She helped me with my equipment questions, needs, and even recommend 3 different places I might search. She also made a call on my behalf to confirm the name of a specific equipment store. I don’t need this type of facility for my parents yet, but if I did/do, based on this interaction alone, I’d consider it at the top of my list.
Absolute nightmare of a building. Seriously took me 15 minutes to try and find the front doo again after entering. Whoever designed this place hates old people for sure
The residents are wonderful. The corporate employees take care of those that live in the building next to the office and those that donate lots of money for the employee Christmas gift fund. (I believe it was over $34,000.) I never saw anyone from management in my building. Dirty walls cleaned for Christmas guests. Dirty doors. Filthy carpets made of petroleum products. Where do I even begin? I just moved my mom down here from Connecticut to the Dallas area. I had a list of retired living communities I had planned to visit. Watermere was the first facility I toured and it ended up being the last. Absolutely stunning!! From the moment I walked in I knew this was the place for my mom. The staff is next level.
