The residents are wonderful. The corporate employees take care of those that live in the building next to the office and those that donate lots of money for the employee Christmas gift fund. (I believe it was over $34,000.) I never saw anyone from management in my building. Dirty walls cleaned for Christmas guests. Dirty doors. Filthy carpets made of petroleum products. Where do I even begin? I just moved my mom down here from Connecticut to the Dallas area. I had a list of retired living communities I had planned to visit. Watermere was the first facility I toured and it ended up being the last. Absolutely stunning!! From the moment I walked in I knew this was the place for my mom. The staff is next level. Everytime I have visited Watermere at the Preserve I have felt comfortable and welcome. The residents are always friendly in the hallways and are happy to be there. The apartments are open, bright and spacious, too. You should definitely check them out!
