Have been living here for 19 years, retired a few years ago and there is no reason to go anywhere else. Incredible green space behind virtually every house, great amenities like a pool and excellent playground for kids. But most important is the neighborhood boat storage, boat ramp and docks for ~25 boats. Great access to the islands from here (Ossabaw & St. Catherines) with zero no-wake zones between us and the ocean. And all this is very economical. We've bought a home here and lived here for over 6 years now, and while the HOA can be difficult sometimes, overall we are very happy to call this neighborhood home. There's always pluses and minuses when choosing a community with an HOA, which is the majority of Richmond Hill, but overall it is one of the better ones in the area. We have lived in Waterford for 8 years and love it here. There are so many family friendly events that got us involved with our neighbors that became friends. The schools here are so fantastic and have done so well in preparing our kids for future success. Add in the water access and it makes our experience here the absolute best. We wouldn’t want to live anywhere else!
