BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE - On 8-10-23 I called in with a question about my water boss iron filter. I spoke with a very nice lady. She helped me with my question. I called back with another question a little after 12 noon on 8-10-23 and reached a very nasty lady. She was very short with me. The city states the hardness of 23 and 1 PPM. I set my 900 water boss to 28. I still get iron and some mineral build up in the toilet bowl. Clear glass wear is dishwasher is spotty as well. I use iron fighter slat from Lowe's, and even Morton iron fighter softener salt. I followed the written instructions, too bad no DVD. ( I just purchased the water-boss in March 2022.
So this is a follow up on my first review in January 2021. Happy to say my softener is performing as I'd hoped. Water is better than with the Morton unit, salt consumption is half what is was before, and it takes care of my iron issues even though it really isn't designed for that. I would definately recommend this product to someone looking to improve their water.
I am a 70 years old disabled senior with an intestinal condition that requires to consume the purest water available. I cannot afford with my low income bottled water. I spent $500 dollars in the WaterBoss plus almost $600 to install it. It means to me a full month of income since given my health condition I am in low income. It stop working 2 months later. WaterBoss customer service refused to help me. They don’t provide service to their units and you must “help yourself”. ( they only guide you through )…with my disabled ... read more
