Waterbar

4.5

About this business

Eating seafood comes naturally when you see Waterbar's beautiful view of the bay and the Bay Bridge. Tanks display the fish available for eating and there is a large raw bar in the dining room. The seafood is sustainable for clear conscience eating. Try pressed lobster or whole oven-roasted petit local halibut. There is a full bar to complement your meal, and valet parking is also available.

Excellent food. Awesome location. Alas a little pricey, but that's probably to be expected. The place is great.

We had a family holiday lunch at Waterbar and enjoyed the whole experience. The service was top-notch...they seated our partial party early and accommodated our gifts. The menu seemed a bit limited at first but everything was mouth-watering, and the views inside and out were spectacular.

We called early in the day to ensure the foie gras was on the menu. YES! The meal had to be one of the best we had in SF, along with excellent service. A must experience place for an upscale evening!

The food was great, the vibe of the place still better, and the service just awesome. Oyster enthusiasts, seafood lovers and bay watchers' paradise.

Service is impeccable The crab was sooo delicious. They cook it in the wood oven so it had a hint of smokiness, and the view, wow! We will be back.

We went for the Bloody Mary's and they were FABULOUS! Two huge prawns, fresh bacon ( cooked to order), and cucumbers with a horseradish perfect spicy heat! Oysters were $1 each and sweet and fresh! Definately a place to visit every time we are in SF! The waitstaff was professional and accompaning. OUR ordering mistake, was quickly and gladly corrected!

I was a little disappointed in the menu. But the super moon and patio did not disappoint.
