DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE SCAM ARTISTS!!! I started an insurance agency and needed professional tax help. Mike was my customer and during our interview he said it would be around 3K for the taxes. We agreed and we kept getting invoice after invoice. Ask a question? Billed at $400 per hour. Send an email? $400 per hour. Total cost for our taxes?? 20K!! Of course Mike never responded to emails until the last day to file and it was pay up or not file. Why did he get 1 star? Google won't give negative stars.....

I never write reviews for other professionals, but this company is in need of honest reviews, The process with Wastvedt is as follows: 1. Intro meeting with Michael. This is a general meeting with basic orientation purposes. You will be billed $500 for this afterward. 2. "Tax preparation meetings" with team members. You will be charged at rate; they will include two accountants so they can bill for each accountant's time during one meeting. Charges can be $900-1200. For a basic meeting that most accountants do not charge for... read more

Regrettably, my family and I had a less than satisfactory experience with Wastvedt and Company. Right from the onset, the communication was lackluster and often ambiguous. Adding to the strain was the financial aspect. I was caught off-guard by a barrage of hidden fees. I was under the impre... read more

For the past nine years, I have had Wastvedt & Company prepare my taxes and work with me for tax planning. My experience with their services has always been positive and professional. The tax planning services have been a tremendous help avoiding unexpected taxes and this allows me to do some financial planning for me personally and my business. I highly recommend their services to anyone.

I would avoid working with this company. I worked with them to file taxes for myself and my small business for 2 years with no issue, however this past year I was suddenly hit with close to an $800 surprise bill for services I didn't agree to or want. I found their lack of transparency about cost and ethical billing services shocking, as well as trying to charge me $375 an hour for a phone call where I was essentially trying to find out if they could still handle my taxes for 2022. When I disputed the charges invoice my comp... read more
