This has been one of my most frustrating medical experiences to date. The clinic offers zero long-term support, relying instead on a rigid, three-option checkbox exercise: off-label medications and two temporary 6-to-8-week group programs. I was happy to have been referred to the Pain Management Centre and my initial visit was great. Medication was prescribed and my pain treatment seemed to be working. However, when I needed to clarify multi prescriptions sent to my pharmacy, I could not get an answer from the clinic. Several calls made to the secretary, with no answers. Waited a very long time to get an appointment. Dr. Alomari referred me to Dr. Schofield for 10 weeks of sessions. On my 3rd appointment Dr.Schofield was extremely rude & unprofessional, which left me leaving in tears. She kept saying to me "do I want to be there: and that "this is not for me" ?.?.? She is the doctor that assessed me to get into this program for 10 weeks. Which I find confusing, since she said it was for me. I would rate 0 stars if I could. Dr. Alomari is supposed to be a specialist in fibromyalgia and she has not a single clue about anything about it. She is in the room maybe 3-5 minutes MAX and makes her assistant explain everything. She brushes me off and doesn't listen to a single thing I have to say. She REFUSES to prescribe me medication that a rheumatologist and my psychiatrist + family doctor have all said is okay to put me on.
