Best local place for ice cream. Neighborhood gathering place. Also has some groceries, sells packaged ice cream, milk and dairy products, beer, sandwiches. Open early for coffee and donuts. And the donuts (they’re the fried cake variety) are legendary all over Ann Arbor.

Love the old fashioned service and the atmosphere of a friendly neighborhood ice cream shop. The ice cream is good (Stroh’s) and the portions are enormous! Don’t forget to bring your dog!
