The donuts at Washtenaw dairy are the most authentic to be had, anywhere. Though I grew up in Ann Arbor I was visiting for a month with my daughter, and we made it fast tradition to jump down to the Washtenaw dairy for morning donuts and coffee. As an infant the Washtenaw Dairy was her first outing as we lived around the corner right after she was born.
