Excellent quality care - I used to go there every two weeks for a paracentesis and everyone was very knowledgeable and friendly.
I would like to heap praise on our nurse on March 14th, 2025 from 2 to 4 pm in the endoscopy unit. Rachel was wonderful and caring and made the experience so much easier. She also helped us get faster care from our next appointment. We loved her and would like to nominate her for an award if you have anything like that at Wash U. Thank you, Rachel, for your kindness and skilled nursing!!
Your appointment will be changed at the last minute, the only answers you get from nurses are to go to the ER because the Doctor is too busy to see you and they can't do anything for you.
I had an appointment scheduled for February, and they called me just two days before to tell me something came up and the doctor had to cancel my appointment. They couldn't get me in for five more months, until July. Now I've waited 11 months for my follow up appointment. I called today to verify my appointment and address, and the lady told me they canceled my appointment because they don't take my new insurance. She said they called me twice and sent me a letter.
