First time back to the fair in about 10'years New buildings are great as is all the food vendors. But disappointment is the cost of rides. Amazing high cost. $12 for two boys to ride the roller coaster. I'm glad I can afford it, but really. For many families this is out of reach. I would like to see a more affordable cost structure for all families. But overall the fair is nice.
I enjoyed so much of the fair-- I do think charging for wheelchairs is a sad thing-- I saw a mom with two smaller kids--who probably could not afford the scooter for the day--
The fair is always fun of course... Just with it wasn't so expensive! When you have a family of 7... It's a lot of money to spend that we do not have.. We didn't even go last year cause of how much it was but we was able to go this year n still had to spend a lot! Almost $80 for all of to eat.. Well 6 of us cuz one stayed home.. Just wish it wasn't so expensive!!
Cleanest state fair I've ever been to. Lots and lots and lots of people, but to be expected. Had a great time.
I bought a dizzy pass wrist band at the fair and that was a total mistake. The ride personal/operating person /man were really rude to my children (the one that was the seat you sit in and goes around and orange in green located next to the kid fire truck.)I do have to say the man operating the small trucks that went around was extremely nice. The bumper car personal were great.i just don't understand why fantastic would hire someone at a state fair in a kid section that doesn't like children . The man running the large Rolle... read more
I just wish there were more rides fitted for the toddlers, my two year old couldn't ride on pretty much any ride not even the merry go round! That was disappointing... But luckily the animals made up for that. Over all we had a great time! Ps. Lower the minimum height so the younger ones can experience some rides.
My family and I had a wonderful time but the prices were outrageous.
Everytime I go it is amazing!!!! The consert are always a good performer and they never go wrong! Great people working the booths and good food! Can't wait till I can go again!
