This is the Washington Policy Center for the Wealthy. Their main goal is to accummulate wealth by creating policies that hemorage money from the middle-class, working-class, and the poor. While they push the school choice agenda to alleviate the cost of tuition for their own children at private and charter schools, they claim that putting money into the public education system doesn't improve student learning. Free market solutions to public policy prioritize profit over human need. Any benefits to the common good are secondary, at best.
I am extremely thankful for all the fine work this organization does to keep us informed and for fighting for policies to help businesses and consumers.
