Had my generator change September 26th at UPMC Washington Hospital on the Cath Lab floor in Washington PA. I have to say what a great experience and an awesome group of nurses!!!! From the time I got there til I was in recovery and was discharged I was well taken care of. These ladies were friendly, professional, caring, helpful and just plain nice. Pharmacists are VERY rude and condescending, and different people will give you different conflicting information. They are unhelpful and make it much harder than it should be. You are never informed that a prescription is filled until they’re about to put it back on the shelf. Also, they DO NOT fill prescription amounts and sometimes dose as the psychiatrist prescribes them. DO NOT USE PHARMACY
My husband and I live close to this hospital and if we have any emergency we go to Washington. My husband woke up this morning with major stabbing pain along his stomach. He went to the ER around 11:30. I went to see him at 2 and he was still in the waiting room. I stayed until 4 and went home. He waited until 6pm and left without medical help.
