Poor medical care and unbelievably (and frankly unethically) high charges. They scheduled me for call with a nurse (even though I requested a doctor) and charged me $314 for a 15 minute telehealth consultation. Stay away.
Dr. Sellinger is great. She is very knowledgeable, warm, and engaging. Unfortunately, she is very difficult to get an appointment with so I scheduled with her NP, Julie Morris. Julie was also knowledgeable; however, she seemed to interact more with the computer than me. It wasn’t until the end of the visit when I asked a question that she really looked at me. I felt more like just a body to be dealt with rather than a person.
I read the reviews, and while I can acknowledge the many recently poor reviews this office has, I had experienced the complete opposite and wholeheartedly give a 5-star review for my experience with Wash GI through appointment scheduling, expectations setting, communication, procedure, and follow-up. Dr.Hong is great! Just moved to the area and her and the team were quick to get me back on my medication. Only downside is I had an urgent referral since I have a previously diagnosed GI disease and still had to wait 2 months for my appointment, but the rapidness in getting me back on my medication makes me not concerned over that- happy to have a good GI again!
