I lived here almost a year. I cant wait until i move out. And i would love to see the extra charges stacked because clearly, thats what they're known for. My heating system went out. They have an old HVAC system meaning, it has to work 5x harder to produce heat leaving the tenant with a large heating bill (500 bucks). My thermostat is set to 68. I live in **************** in Waynesboro PA. This is absolutely the worst company I have ever rented from. Extremely bad management with I can only assume is zero training or experience. They are rude and uncaring, and will lie directly to your face. Carpet and paint were supposed to be replaced before moving into this unit, and it was never completed. The outside hose bibs were an issue and the decision was made to cap access to all the bibs that remained active in July. This was included with routine preventative maintenance and not explicitly stated on the maintenance notice. Washco should have communicated this better to the specific residents effected. There was believed to be a water leak and entry was necessary. The on-site team will inspect the playground equipment; specifically a detailed inspection of the slide. Review is in regards to their A*************** in Waynesboro, Pa. Only issues. Upon moving in in April of 2019, was promised a torn carpet from initial walkthrough would be replaced, after a month work order was submitted, management closed out work order, another was submitted as work was not completed, the work order was deleted, one more was deleted after this, raised the issue with the management office. Multiple discussions took place regarding general wear and tear to carpet in a rental unit versus damage. The issue was eventually settled with a repair to the carpet. All residents were notified of preventative maintenance being conducted, however, capping the outside hose faucets was not specifically listed on the notice. A new notice has been provide to all remaining units.
I'm very shocked that there are not more reviews regarding washco management and their apartments. I live in ********************. It's extremely high priced for the very poor service you get from management and maintenance. This company needs to hire new management. If you have children, think twice as they put other people before you and your kids and threaten to evict you.
