Local Coffee Shop in Quintessential Denver Neighborhood Wash Perk is a cozy, locally owned neighborhood coffee shop with friendly staff - perfect Sunday morning Joe. They offer a limited food selection. Burritios are pretty good, although the pasties leave much to be desired. The shop serves their down-to-earth crowd with a refreshing 'green' philosophy.

A delightful retreat for work or pleasure Wash Perk has a great patio with a friendly atmosphere, serving cafe beverages you're happy to know aren't driving Starbucks bottom line. They offer delicious pastries including vegan options from the Watercourse Bakery. Free wi-fi access attracts the entrepreneurial crowd, so it's not uncommon to find a dozen or more patrons with laptops on the tables who are comfortably parked for a couple of hours. RecommendedDiscovered this gem tucked into the middle of the neighborhood down the street from our AirBNB (and just a quick stroll from Washington Park). They knew all of their regulars well but were also user-friendly to out-of-towners. The coffee and tea were both fantastic and served quickly. The pastries and sandwiches were great, too.
