RecommendedI have been to Dr Thunell twice for gum graft surgeries in the last year. Both times I had a great experience with minimal pain. He is very gentle and kind when he performs the procedure and has always called me after to see how I am doing. I have recommended him to many friends.
His staff is amazing. They are very thoughtful and diligent about care.

Dr. Thunell is a wonderful periodontist. He is very gentle, kind, reassuring, skilled, fast and will listen carefully to any issues you have going on. His staff is caring and professional. His office is beautiful, clean and friendly. I appreciate all he has done for me with two dental implants. I would heartily recommend him to anyone who is in need of periodontal services. He is the BEST!
Dr. Thunell is hands down the best periodontist out there. As a younger patient, I was terrified of judgement, and worried if he would be careful enough to make his work lasting in my gum and bone tissue. I am very happy with his work. Dr. Thunnel is a gentle surgeon, he is a perfectionist as well, which is a good thing in his line of business. His office is clean and beautiful, and his staff kind and professional. I highly recommend Dr. Thunnel. Thank you so much for all of your help to me over the years!

After you use your yearly maximum. They charge you regular prices... I called and asked if they were charging my insurance rates and she told me yes. I called my insurance and found out they are charging me regular prices. I believe if you have insurance they should still honor the contracted prices. I called around and found some honest dentist that do charge the contracted prices after your yearly maximum. We will be going there from now on.
This place is fantastic, especially if you have legitimate fear when it comes to dentistry and periodontics. They've been very helpful and knowledgable regarding my own issues. They have done everything to put me at ease with my many upcoming procedures. Today I had some work done with Sue-she was amazing. Super kind, funny, and great at distracting me from my discomfort. She even took time to listen to me process the procedure. The staff here is exceptional.
I like Dr. Thunell! Awesome periodontist! I would refer other patients to him!
