Went to Wasabi Chi tonight for our anniversary. We had their lion head appetizer, king crab signature roll, out of this world roll, crunchy spicy salmon roll and sake. It was absolutely fantastic! Flavors were incredible!
Everything is amazing. The food, food presentation and service.
My favorite Sushi ever. Great atmosphere, our server the last few times, Andy, is awesome and so knowledgeable! I don't eat raw fish, or like very spicy foods and I have never had a problem with ordering delicious food. My faves: Fuji Yama Roll, the Brussel Sprout appetizers is life changing, Crunchy Calamari Mango Roll and the Shrimp Tempura Roll. I was not a fan of the Octopus and Sweet Shrimp nigiri pieces - too tough for my preference.
Hot food appetizers were good and fresh but the shrimp tempura rolls were the worst I've had in my life. The fried shrimp inside was cold and stale, tasted like it had been fried hours ago. Plus it was super-loosely wrapped and every single piece fell apart when trying to pick up or put in soy sauce. There was somewhat of a language barrier with our waitress, because when she asked how it was and we told her "tastes old, stale, and is not good" she just nodded, smiled, and walked away.
