What the Devil Happened – I was somewhat new to Washington and was in search of some good southern cooking. Especially some BBQ. Most of my life was in Chicago, Illinois. I came from Chicago to this beautiful land in 2005. The BBQ in Chitown rocks. You can go from smoky Texas style all the way deep south with mouthwatering sauced meat. Barbeque If you like Bbq this is a great place to go. It is very small. Limited seating. Prices are reasonable. Would probably call in and take it to go next time. Great BBQ
You can do it better at home yourself – Upon first entering the establishment I was somewhat impressed by the look; that is if you like to see alot of stuffed animal busts everywhere.. This should have been a clue what I was in for especially when I saw the buffulo and alligator's busts because the meet was as tough as thier hides probably. Just not good....tried it twice to be sure – So who am I to say that a BBQ joint is good or bad? Well...in the end, I'm just another diner with an opinion. However, I CAN say that my BBQ opinion is fairly well informed. I lived in Tennessee and Texas from '87-'07 and have had some of the very best (from the Vous to Kreutz's to Corky's to Schmitty's, etc.) ..as well lots and lots of little gas station, trailer and no name joints through out the South and Texas. Great BBQ!!! Simply superb BBQ! This place lets you build your own meal combos and serves beer as well. Indoor seating is tough to come by since this small place is usually packed. The food and service is definately worth it though, about $10 gets you more food than you could ever hope to finish and a beer or two.
