In Monroe's historic downtown, you'll find Warehouse No 1. Restaurant. Our family-owned spot has been serving the community authentic Louisiana cuisine since we opened back in 1980. We're known for our award-winning food and scenic overlook of the Ouachita River. It's this combination that's kept families coming back year after year. I had a lovely afternoon with my niece here a few weeks ago whilst home for a visit from Melbourne, good coffee, good food and excellent service.

My wife and I had a wonderful meal last night at this restaurant, which features a great view of the Ouachita River. The service was attentive and prompt and the food was great, especially the catfish and the bread pudding. They also make a mean Old Fashioned. We plan on checking it out again next time we are in Monroe.

Awesome service our waiter has been there fir 18 years wow thank you. Best meal I have had in months. The owner was so sweet gave us the tour amazing history. Thank you so much we will be back from the Minnesota crew!!
