I don't even know where to start. I have stage 4 cancer which was very advanced when I started seeing her. Rude, doesn't like answering questions, ignores messages, very dismissive when it comes to treatment complications, which left me suffering in the hospital. The worst part was just how rude and dismissive she always is and she will treat me like I'm an inconvenience and she sounds like she's yelling at me when I try to ask questions. I live how she is so thorough and really gets to know patient background and family life, stress factors, diet, and western medicine. She is the reason I am alive. She will tell you the truth and not sugar coat but I appreciate that. Very wise woman who is not just pushing pills on you but takes a holistic approach..
I don’t know how Kaiser gets such high ratings—they must be paid for. My family has endured three cancer cases with Kaiser, all mishandled, but Dr. Hu was the worst. She was unavailable, argued with us, and fixated on involving estranged children while ignoring the wife and brother who were caring for the patient daily. She gave conflicting instructions, denied him pain meds, and discharged him when he clearly needed hospital care. He suffered for months under false hope.
