At first glance - knowledgable and kind in exam room...BUT...terrible communication and followup - on average takes more than 48 hours to respond to emails on patient portal, often does not directly address patient questions or concerns directly, skirting around the answer or ignoring altogether. Difficult to reach and slow to respond in an emergency/urgent situations. Dr. Wang is one of the most Professional Doctor's I've seen. I have an Auto Immune Disorder and have seen many Physicians throughout my Life. She's very friendly, explains things well! Very pleased with my care I receive at her Office
Dr. Wang treats you with compassion and works with you to come up with the best regime to your specific needs. If something does not work she makes sure to explore alternatives. She works with 2 of my other specialists for a treatment plan and goes out of her way to make you feel comfortable. Her nurses & front desk are also very personable and make you feel at ease. Highly recommend! So happy she came to Olathe, KS!
I am a patient of Dr Wang. Dr Wang is very detailed, polite, and very knowledgeable of the RX out there as well as their side effects. These are the most important factors for us patients. I disagreed w/ Kathy Carl's review on 6/6/16, Dr Wang DOESN'T have her own PA in the clinic. The Wichita clinic front desk must have scheduled Kathy with the clinic PA not Dr. Wang. Dr Wang is now practicing in the new office in Olathe, KS. Dr Wang is the best doctor that I have ever seen !
Dr. Shirley Wang is the most excellent doctor in her field I have ever been to. She is kind, compassionate, and exceptionally skilled. She recently moved to Olathe from Wichita, so I plan to call for an appt., she is well worth the drive.
I would recommend Dr. Wang to anyone who needs a Rheumatologist. Because she is so patient doesn’t rush you, takes the time to listen to you. She is very honest, always has a smile and loves to research the Diagnosis and Medications, before she puts you on them. She is truly a Blessing. Literally she is one of the best Rheumatologists I know. My biggest fear is that one day she will leave me and open her on practice somewhere else. And she did. You can find her in Olathe, KS
Dr wang very rarely sees her patients. Her PA sees her patients most of the time. Be sure to also get the name of the staff when you make or cancel appointments as they claim that you never showed up to your apt when you very clearly cancelled. They will charge you for that appointment. Very unprofessional over the phone from there staff. Would not recommend.
