Son had doctor appt. and dr. Walters did not identify medical problem with son. Son went into coma. A urine test could have identified juvenile diabetes. Afterwards denied having seen my son even though billing was filed with our insurance company. My son was not expected to live.
He was the absolute best doctor my husband and I ever saw. He is compassionate, understanding and always took the necessary time to explain everything to us. My husband had many physical problems so we were in his office frequently. When my husband passed, Dr. Walters was very helpful explaining to me what he thought happened. I would have recommended him to anyone! I was devastated when he retired! TOTALLY DEVASTATED!! We no longer have this wonderful doctor practicing medicine!
That is a great doctor. However, his staff is the worst I have ever encountered. Some day you will need a prescription while you are out of town. You will be at the mercy of the local emergency room, or at the mercy of the local pharmacist, as I was, again and again. They are bad staff and the doctor shares them with the other doctors at the center. Bad doctors staff are a good reason to not use a doctor, I have doctors STAFF order lab testing for me that cost me 400 dollars out of my own pocket at this doctor. Do yourself a... read more
That doctors staff is terrible. Try to get a simple prescription filled some time while you are out of state. They will screw with you mercilessly. I needed blood pressure medication while on a trip and they told me to go to either emergency or to beg the pharmacist for some. Sometimes you need a script filled and you do not have time to travel from Florida to see the doctor about a simple unscheduled medication.
