Instead of somewhat policing what shouldn’t need policing, parents are allowed to save seats in the spectator stands for their children that are on teams making spectators sit in the walking aisle/steps. It’s also apparently required to have several inches on each side of each person as since they were there first it’s owed to them. Simple fix, Have someone on the staff assist and police it so it isn’t confrontational. This is supposed to be a fun event for the kids. Not a contest of who gets the most space.
This facility is not capable of holding such a large meet. It was a disaster waiting to happen and an insult to the young men and women who came to swim their hearts out. Treatment of friends and family was even worse. Give it up, WSAC...you are not a proper host venue for a state meet! Shame for even bidding for it!
Beautiful construction provides a great view of the swimmers and their lanes. I appreciate the kind staff and it Maintence is very clean and warm. I appreciate them for hosting the annual WIAC conferences which I've attended four yeas in a row now. My mother in law Marietta Carpenter and late father in law Claude Carpenter really spent many hours enjoying the facilities.
Great place to dive! I only wish it was closer so we could go there more often. Todd and staff rock.
