He takes his Time with me explaining everything .
If you are a human that expects procedures scheduled months in advance to not be cancelled the day before, within hours of the office closing and no opportunity to connect with staff - then do not count on this practice. No problem blowing you up with texts and emails for appointment reminders and check in notices but god forbid they CANCEL a procedure without a reason that you took off work for and traveled out of town for, they hide behind end of day voicemails as if thats remotely acceptable. Pleasant before surgery, horrible and rude after. No compassion, and never really listened to me. Never took into consideration my medical history. Walked out of the room in the middle of a conversation with me. Rolled his eyes at his nurse, who was very rude to me also. In great pain after surgery. All they can say is go to the ER.
Dr. Blessing has a very warm personality. He is very patient to explain all the options available and how the procedures work. We wish him all the best in his practice! He's a great doctor that cares.
Over the last twenty-five years, I have under gone more than a dozen major abdominal surgeries performed by some of the most famous surgeons in the world. I consider Dr Blessing to be among the best of these splendid physicians. Not only is he though.y competent but he is a warm and personable man whose personal demeanor is most reassuring. Dr Blessings patients know that he cares about them personally and will provide them with the very best health care possible.
Just came through surgery with Doctor Blessing and am recovering without issue. The consultation, pre-op brief and day of operation went very smooth with all my questions being answered. I would recommend his care.
Overall smooth experience (if forced to have an experience). Staff at Office and Hospital were great. The only two suggestion I would have are; 1) A call to check on how I was doing (after going home) after outpatient surgery would have been nice. 2) Called the Doctor's office during my lunch hour to schedule a follow-up. Everyone at the Office was at Lunch and I got an answering service that promised me a call-back when I was NOT at lunch. The Office Hours listed do not reflect 'out to lunch'
He is a fantastic surgeon . It takes the time to explain things to his patients. I would recommend him to anyone who wants to have a good doctor.
Dr. Blessing has an excellent bedside manner and does a good job of explaining things in a way that is easy for you to understand and he takes the time to answer all of your questions.
