I made an appointment prior to surgery in February 2018 to ask Dr. Beaver to do a full knee replacement not a partial which is his specialty of the practice. It was my 4th knee surgery. He did his partial. I went back 8 times post op and told him something was very wrong. He dismissed me 8 times. In September 2018 I wrote him a long letter detailing the pain and limitations I had and asked for his help. Zero response. I had a second opinion in October from head of Ortho at Wake Forest. Exceeded my expectations!
Dr. Beaver is so personable. He was quite willing to answer any and all of my questions. When he replaces my hip and helps me walk again, I'll give him all of the stars in the sky.
Dr Beaver did a kneecap replacement on me. He has also done a total knee replacement on my wife. We did our research before we chose Dr Beaver. He has traveled the world teaching his techniques to other orthopedic surgeons. Dr Beaver has also helped design the implants for the knee replacement. Informative and easy to understand procedures
Dr. Beaver was very personable and gave me all the time I needed. He listened carefully to all my concerns and I never felt rushed. When previously told I needed knee surgery, Dr. Beaver had a different opinion of my MRIs and did not recommend surgery. To me he was one of the most professional physicians I have seen. I would highly recommend him to everyone.
Wonderfull very competent. The best I can walk with out a cane now. The ball had deteriorated off my femer he fixed it all. Dr Beaver is the best in his profesdion.
Dr. Walter Beaver is a marvelous and very professional doctor. He is very knowledgeable and has does a great job at what he is known for in his profession. So glad my dad had him for his specialist.
