He acts as if he hasn't read any of the notes regarding your referrral(s) from other physician(s). If you're seeing him, you have been referred by at least one other doctor. He provides the basic care needed, examinations are brief, and he provides good follow-up information. I wouldn’t feel comfortable having him perform my surgery. The visit was not professional. His assistant didn’t know what she was doing. I didn’t like his options and worst of all, I smelled alcohol on his breath. No thank you
Not very compassionate nor seemingly very knowledgeable
Dr. Walter is not compassionate with his patients. If your surgery post surgery does not go as planned, don't look to him to be understanding. I had a partial hysterectomy, with bladder sling and a retocele performed. My outcome was not a positive one . I couldn't urinate on my own and had to catherdize myself for 5 months and required a second surgery to correct it ( which I didn't let him perform). Intercourse with my hubby is painful and I have permanent nerve damage to my bladder.
Dr. Walter is an excellent physician. I highly recommend him to any woman looking towards a hysterectomy. He was always in contact with me and informed me of timelines to look forwards to post-surgery. Great doctor!
