It’s unfortunate there are so many bad reviews, not to say they are not valid as they absolutely are. I have had great experiences at this vision centre. I have been going since I was a kid and I am now 30 and taking my own daughter who also had a great first experience with them recently. I have dealt with everyone there. I’m not bubbly or friendly so that couldn’t be a factor, however I am respectful of their knowledge and time. I like being in and out of there. I would have put 0 starts if I could, but I cannot. Unfortunately, the man working their African American at the front desk argued with me. Yelled and said that he never forgot telling me about the $35 fitting fee. For my son's contact lenses, he said it's his job for 30 years and he never forgets anything. He completely completely disowned his mistake and was arguing with me. And he said, he's okay if we go somewhere else and put a bad review about him. But he does not forget anything, ever. Went here after 2 other check ups,changed glasses not back a year later to get 2 pairs due to feeling unbalanced while walking,let's hope this is the issue.Always professional and helpful finding new frames.Great prices too!
I had a very negative experience. I wasnt able to pull up my benefits website to prove odsp coverage, since it was under construction so i had to pay out of pocket even though i offered my member id and health card. Dr. N Afkhami was extremely rude and talked down to me like I was a child. When I asked him if it's possible to have half of what my prescription is because if its too strong i dont wear it (what my previous eye doctors did for me) he told me "do not be a doctor.
