I am providing this feedback because I believe Walmart Pharmacy can improve its communication when a prescription is delayed by insurance authorization. I was initially told my halobetasol prescription would take approximately two days. Five days later, after I called the pharmacy, I learned that my insurance had not wanted to cover the medication because of its approximately $500 cost. Extremely helpful, the staff went over and beyond to help me. I switched pharmacies from Walgreens to Walmart.
